Paramount launches VTOL V-Raven, with light-attack version to follow

South African firm Paramount recently unveiled its vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) uncrewed aerial vehicle, the V-Raven, at the Africa Aerospace & Defence (AAD) event near Pretoria. The demonstration occurred earlier this month and showcased the aircraft’s capabilities for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance operations. Paramount reports that the baseline intelligence configuration of the V-Raven offers an operational endurance of eight hours. This VTOL system is specifically designed to meet requirements within the standard for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance tasks. Furthermore, Paramount intends to release a light-attack version of the V-Raven following the initial launch.
