New Red Wings chief set to oversee fleet modernisation

Red Wings, a Russian carrier operating aircraft including the Superjet 100 and Tu-204, has appointed Igor Ivliev as its new chief executive officer. This transition follows Alexander Lebedev’s leadership since June of last year. Ivliev is scheduled to lead efforts focused on modernizing Red Wing's fleet. Previously, he directed operations for the Krasnoyarsk operator. Industry observers anticipate this change will bring strategic direction to the airline’s future development plans within Russia.
