New contract with G2E advances development work on GCAP fighter’s electronics suite

The Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP) between Italy, Japan and the UK has secured a significant advancement through an 18-month contract awarded to the GCAP Electronics Evolution (G2E) consortium. Edgewing placed this contract as part of ongoing activities focused on developing the future platform's integrated sensing and communications system. This represents a transformation from national companies working independently towards a unified approach. The project aims to deliver a sophisticated electronics suite for the next generation fighter aircraft within the GCAP framework.
