NASA ORBIT Challenge 2027

The NASA ORBIT Challenge 2027 is open to university and community college students across the United States. Participants will have the opportunity to collaborate using actual NASA intellectual property and address specific mission difficulties. Students can select between two distinct tracks: developing practical applications of NASA patents focused on terrestrial solutions, categorized under the ‘ORBIT Earth’ initiative, or designing innovative technologies geared towards future space exploration endeavors. The challenge encourages students to engage with real-world NASA projects and foster technological advancements. This competition aims to cultivate a skilled workforce prepared for challenges in both aerospace and related industries by leveraging existing NASA resources.
