MTU invests €100 million in Hannover expansion

MTU Maintenance commenced construction of a significant facility expansion at its Hannover, Germany location on October 22, 2026. The project represents an investment exceeding €100 million and encompasses the addition of over 10,000 square meters to accommodate increased engine maintenance and repair operations. Specifically, the expansion includes 7,700 m² dedicated to production space alongside 2,200 m² for office areas within the site. This substantial upgrade will bolster MTU’s capabilities in servicing aircraft engines. The completed extension is intended to significantly enhance capacity at the Hannover facility.
