Moscow airports structure consolidates further as Vnukovo takes stake in Domodedovo owner

Sheremetyevo airport has expanded its control over Moscow’s aviation infrastructure through a strategic acquisition of Domodedovo airport. This consolidation occurred during a state auction earlier this year, with Sheremetyevo's subsidiary, Perspektiva, assuming ownership of the airport. Subsequently, Vnukovo airport’s management firm became a shareholder in the new entity controlling Domodedovo. The move represents a significant restructuring within the Moscow airport system, aiming to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
