General Atomics, in collaboration with Hanwha, recently completed an austere field exercise utilizing the Mojave STOL unmanned aircraft system. The exercise was conducted north of Seoul and replicated battlefield conditions for operational testing. Specifically, the Mojave successfully landed and took off from designated locations within the simulated environment. This activity builds upon a pre-existing relationship between General Atomics and Hanwha regarding uncrewed aerial vehicle technology. The purpose of this simulation was to assess the performance capabilities of the Mojave UAV under realistic circumstances.
