Mexico orders second C-130J-30 Super Hercules

Mexico’s air force has secured a second Lockheed Martin C-130J-30 Super Hercules, bolstering its airlift capabilities following the initial acquisition in January. This expansion marks Mexico as the inaugural Latin American nation to operate this advanced tactical transport aircraft within the global fleet. The first C-130J-30 was announced earlier this year and solidified Lockheed Martin's position with this new customer. Fuerza Aeroportuaria de México (FAP) is responsible for operating the aircraft. The addition of this second Super Hercules significantly enhances Mexico’s logistical support capacity.
