Lufthansa Technik and Emirates renew A380 maintenance deal

Lufthansa Technik and Emirates have extended their agreement for the heavy maintenance of Emirates' Airbus A380 fleet. This multi-year contract, lasting until 2030, will continue to utilize Lufthansa Technik Philippines as the primary location for these critical checks. The Asian center of excellence is currently undertaking heavy check programmes on Emirates’ A380s at its existing facility. This ongoing partnership represents a significant commitment from both companies to maintaining operational readiness within the airline’s widebody aircraft portfolio. The renewal solidifies Lufthansa Technik Philippines’ role as a key strategic partner for Emirates in upholding safety standards.
