Los Angeles-Bound Southwest Airlines Passenger Dies After Multiple CPR Attempts Mid-Flight

A 22-year-old passenger on a Southwest Airlines flight destined for Los Angeles experienced a sudden medical event while airborne. The individual initiated multiple attempts at cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) following the episode. Despite these efforts, the passenger succumbed to his condition during the flight’s transit. Flight WN673 from Denver was diverted to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. Medical personnel were immediately available upon arrival in Phoenix to assist with the situation; however, they were unable to revive the patient.
