Loganair orders up to 10 Alia CX300s for passenger and cargo flights

Loganair, a Scottish regional carrier, has finalized an agreement to purchase up to ten Alia CX300 all-electric aircraft from Beta Technologies. This order represents Loganair’s ambition to become the inaugural commercial airline in Europe operating exclusively electric planes. The deal follows a successful 10-day trial conducted in March where Loganair evaluated the Alia CX300's capabilities. These new aircraft are slated for deployment across passenger and cargo routes operated by the carrier. Loganair intends to utilize these innovative aircraft to expand its operational reach while prioritizing sustainable aviation practices.
