Lion Nebula Roars in Webb’s Sights

NASA's James Webb Space Telescope recently captured a stunning new image of the Lion Nebula, formally known as NGC 2392. This expansive nebula, located within the ‘plains’ of space, showcases remarkable detail thanks to Webb’s advanced high-resolution imaging capabilities. Specifically, the nebula’s distinctive “mane” region is now clearly visible in this newly released image dated August 10th, 2026.
