Kenya Airways CEO George Kamal resigns after less than nine months

George Kamal, the Chief Executive Officer of Kenya Airways, submitted his resignation effective immediately following a period of just under nine months in the role. He previously served as Acting Group Managing Director and held that position prior to assuming the top leadership spot at the airline. The circumstances surrounding Kamal’s departure remain undisclosed according to AeroTime's report. This transition occurs shortly after he was appointed to the CEO position in July 2023.
