IndiGo A321 suffers tail strike during second landing attempt in Bengaluru

An IndiGo Airbus A321 experienced a tail strike while attempting its second landing approach at Kempegowda International Airport (BLR) in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The aircraft was conducting flight number 6EI GAU-BLR from Guwahati (GAU) when the incident occurred. Ground control instructed the pilots to perform a go-around following the initial landing attempt. Subsequently, the crew initiated a second landing approach, which resulted in the tail striking the runway surface. Following the event, the aircraft safely landed on the same runway after completing a precautionary inspection.
