Boeing 747-8 cabin crews utilize dedicated rest areas strategically located throughout the lower deck, offering private spaces for sleep and relaxation during layovers. These pods are designed to accommodate up to two flight attendants each, providing a comfortable environment with adjustable lighting and temperature controls. Each pod measures approximately 6’ x 8’ and is equipped with a reading light and ventilation system. Crew members typically spend around eight hours in these rest areas during an overnight stopover. The Boeing 747-8 offers six of these rest areas on its standard configuration.
