Heart Aerospace Aims to Field Hybrid-Electric ES-30 by 2031

Heart Aerospace is pursuing the development of its hybrid-electric ES-30 aircraft, aiming for initial field operations by 2031. The company recently secured a special airworthiness certification from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), marking a significant step forward in their plans. This certification allows for immediate flight testing utilizing the X1 demonstration prototype. Initial tests will focus on evaluating the performance and capabilities of this innovative design. Heart Aerospace anticipates that successful completion of these tests will pave the way for further development and ultimately commercial operation of the ES-30.
