Flydubai launches cabin retrofit programme as fleet surpasses 100 aircraft

Flydubai is initiating a comprehensive cabin retrofit program to enhance passenger comfort and operational efficiency across its growing fleet. The airline plans to install lie-flat business class seats in all cabins, significantly improving the premium travel experience for customers. Simultaneously, Flydubai will increase overhead bin capacity throughout the fleet to accommodate increased luggage volume. This strategic initiative aligns with the carrier’s ambitious growth strategy, targeting a total fleet size exceeding 100 aircraft by year's end. Specifically, the rollout includes seven Boeing 737 Max 9 jets and four additional 737 Max aircraft, further solidifying Flydubai’s position as a key player in regional air transport.
