Ethiopian full-year revenues up 20% as work progresses on new Bishoftu hub

Ethiopian Airlines reported a significant increase in its full-year revenue, reaching an impressive 20 percent growth for the fiscal year 2025/26. The airline attributed this success to a “particularly successful” performance during the initial nine months of the period. However, the final quarter was impacted by the ongoing Middle East conflict, which presented challenges. Construction is actively progressing at Ethiopian’s ambitious new Bishoftu hub, with completion anticipated by January 2027. This strategic expansion aims to bolster the carrier's operational capabilities and connectivity within Africa.
