EnduroSat signs deal with Bulgaria to develop major space base near Sofia

On August 6, 2026, EnduroSat finalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Republic of Bulgaria regarding the development of a significant space base situated in close proximity to Sofia. This ambitious project aims to establish a multi-satellite platform capable of providing comprehensive services across various sectors. The Bulgarian government has committed to supporting the construction and operation of this facility, recognizing its strategic importance for national security and technological advancement. Initial plans involve deploying several EnduroSat’s ‘Little Satellite’ platforms at the new location, utilizing their unique vertical takeoff and landing capabilities. Furthermore, the collaboration anticipates fostering innovation within Bulgaria's aerospace industry through knowledge transfer and skilled workforce development.
