Emirates fitting new economy neck-support headrest across A350 and 777X fleets

Emirates is implementing a new economy-class seat headrest designed for full head and neck support across its Airbus A350 and Boeing 777X fleets. The Dubai-based carrier has already fitted three Airbus A350-900 aircraft with this innovative feature, including the A6-EXY unit currently showcased at the Farnborough air show. Emirates intends to retrofit older aircraft types with the same enhanced headrest system. This initiative reflects the airline’s commitment to passenger comfort during long-haul flights. The move follows extensive testing of the design by Emirates to ensure optimal support for sleeping passengers.
