Emirates’ A380 makes historic first landing in Jakarta, flies AC Milan home

An Emirates Airbus A380 successfully completed its inaugural arrival at Soekarno–Hatta International Airport in Jakarta on August 8, 2026. This significant event represented the aircraft's very first touchdown within Indonesia’s capital city. The operation was undertaken to facilitate the return of AC Milan players following their trip. Ground handling services were provided by PT Angkasa Logistik and Garuda Indonesia.
