Embraer’s Autoland-Equipped Phenom 300EV Obtains Triple Certification

Embraer has announced that its Phenom 300EV aircraft, a light jet and the largest business jet, has achieved triple certification. This significant milestone includes certifications from Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA), the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), and the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The Phenom 300EV is specifically equipped with Garmin’s Emergency Autoland system, marking it as the initial light jet and biggest business jet to receive this crucial validation. According to Embraer, the Emergency Autoland technology provides pilots with an automated landing capability in situations where they are unable to safely control the aircraft. This certification ensures operational safety for operators utilizing the Phenom 300EV across various international markets.
