Elon Musk says Ukraine ‘violated Starlink terms’ as full speed service returns

SpaceX CEO Elon Musk stated that the Ukrainian military had breached the terms of service for its Starlink satellite internet system by utilizing it for offensive purposes. According to Musk, this misuse led to a temporary reduction in service speeds provided to Ukraine. Following an investigation and subsequent correction from the Ukrainian side, SpaceX restored Starlink's full operational capacity. The incident occurred after SpaceX initially limited bandwidth availability to Ukraine due to concerns about potential violations. Musk emphasized the importance of adhering to established protocols when using the critical communication technology.
