Delta Flight Diverts, Then Leaves Some Passengers Behind After TSA Checkpoint Closes

A Delta Air Lines flight experienced an unexpected diversion on Tuesday following a closure of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) checkpoint at Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport. The incident involved passengers being directed to a baggage carousel after the checkpoint closed, leaving them without access to the secure airfield area. According to reports, travelers were specifically told to proceed to this carousel. Subsequently, some of these affected passengers were unable to return to the airside areas.
