Community College Instructors Bring Astronomy Textbook Into 21st Century

Three project teams at community colleges are working to modernize astronomy instruction through partnerships with NASA. These teams developed innovative approaches utilizing NASA’s extensive digital assets, including imagery and interactive activities. The initiative addresses concerns about relying solely on outdated textbooks in teaching astronomy concepts.
