Comac’s C919 completes first international flight

Comac's C919 aircraft has successfully completed its inaugural international flight, marking a significant milestone for the Chinese manufacturer. Air China deployed the narrowbody jet to operate flights to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, specifically utilizing the B-919Y registered aircraft. On August 12th, the Air China C919 undertook flight CA723 from Beijing directly to the Mongolian capital city. This represents the initial operational deployment of the C919 beyond domestic routes within Mainland China. Currently, Comac’s C919 primarily serves domestic destinations in China, with this new venture signifying an expansion into international operations.
