Collins Aerospace expands Iowa engine components plant

Collins Aerospace, a division of RTX, is undertaking a significant expansion project at its manufacturing site in West Des Moines, Iowa. The company plans to add 14,000 square feet to the facility, representing a multi-million dollar investment. This growth will bolster production capacity specifically for advanced fuel distribution systems. These systems encompass both original equipment components and spare parts manufactured within the Iowa location. Collins Aerospace intends to leverage this increased capability to satisfy rising customer demand for these critical engine components.
