Chinese J-16s duel with Rafales, MiG-29s in Egypt

Six Chinese J-16 fighter jets are currently deployed to Egypt as part of a long-range deployment marking the aircraft’s inaugural visit to Africa. The People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) utilized this exercise to showcase its increasing capabilities for projecting power across international borders. These engagements involve participation in the Eagles of Civilization II exercise alongside other participating air forces. Specifically, the J-16s have been observed conducting drills with Rafale and MiG-29 fighters within the Egyptian airspace.
