Bye Aerospace steps closer to eFlyer 2 first flight with FAA approval

Bye Aerospace has received an approval from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for its two-seat all-electric eFlyer 2 aircraft, marking a significant step towards its initial flight testing phase. The special airworthiness certificate was granted by the FAA on September 9th, enabling Bye Aerospace to commence operations. This pilot-training aircraft utilizes a Safran ENGINeUS motor as its power source. The eFlyer 2 is designed as a two-person vehicle and will undergo flight tests in the United States.
