British Airways Sued After Falling Bottle Left Sleeping Woman With Lasting Eye Damage

British Airways is facing a lawsuit following an incident on flight BA2567 from London Heathrow to San Francisco on December 11, 2023. A bottle fell from above, striking a passenger in seat 38A, resulting in significant injuries. The passenger sustained a scalp laceration which subsequently caused a concussion and developed post-traumatic stress disorder alongside persistent double vision. Initial attempts by the flight crew’s first aid efforts were unsuccessful in alleviating the passenger's condition. Legal action has been initiated seeking compensation for the lasting physical and psychological harm experienced as a direct consequence of this event.
