Breeze Retires Its Last E190

Spirit Airlines has finalized its shift towards operating exclusively Airbus A220 aircraft across its entire network. This strategic move represents a full retirement of the airline’s previously operated Boeing 737 MAX and Embraer E190 fleets. The transition was completed on December 31, 2023, marking the final step in Spirit's long-term operational strategy. Prior to this change, Breeze Airways had also transitioned to an all-A220 fleet. This decision reflects Spirit’s commitment to modernizing its fleet with more fuel-efficient and lower maintenance aircraft.
