Boeing will power up new VC-25B Air Force One this year ahead of 2027 first flight: USAF general

Boeing is currently under contract to produce two VC-25B presidential transport jets for the United States Air Force. General Dale White, director of critical major weapon systems, reports that Boeing intends to activate the lead VC-25B aircraft later in 2023. The initial first flight of this next generation Air Force One is scheduled for 2027. This activation will be a crucial step before the full operational capability is achieved.
