BETA, Metro Test Electric Aircraft for Texas EMS

Metro Aviation and BETA Technologies conducted a test flight of BETA’s all-electric ALIA aircraft with Washington County Emergency Medical Services in Brenham, Texas this month. The primary objective of the demonstration was to evaluate the aircraft's suitability for disaster response operations within the EMS system. This system routinely handles over 7,000 emergency calls annually across its service area. During the testing period, the focus remained on transporting essential equipment via the electric aircraft. Representatives from both Metro Aviation and BETA Technologies were present during the event.
