Airbus receives H160 order from Japan’s Fire and Disaster Management Agency

Airbus announced it has secured an order for ten H160 helicopters from Japan's Fire and Disaster Management Agency (FDMA). This acquisition is intended to bolster the agency’s capabilities in responding to emergencies and managing disaster situations across Japan. The new aircraft will significantly enhance FDMA’s operational effectiveness, particularly during critical missions requiring rapid deployment. Airbus anticipates commencing deliveries of these advanced helicopters to the FDMA throughout 2024.
