Airbus, Kratos complete first European Valkyrie drone flight

Airbus and Kratos Defense & Security Solutions successfully completed the inaugural flight of the U740 Valkyrie uncrewed combat aircraft in Northern Europe. This test flight achieved all established objectives for the program. The Valkyrie is slated to deliver a combat-ready system by 2029, initially intended for Germany’s armed forces. Other European armed forces are also anticipated to receive this new technology. This marks a significant step forward in integrating advanced drone systems into European defense capabilities.
