Airbus Boosts August Deliveries 9% But Remains Behind Pace For 870-Aircraft 2026 Target

Airbus announced an increase of 9 percent in aircraft deliveries during August, totaling 254 units for the month. The A321neo variant was particularly strong, contributing 26 deliveries across a diverse range of destinations including locations within China and the United States. This boosted the A321neo’s annual delivery figure to 230 units by the end of August. Despite this positive performance, Airbus acknowledges it is currently behind schedule regarding its ambitious target of delivering 870 aircraft by 2026. The company continues to focus on increasing production output to meet these long-term objectives.
