Airbus, Air France launch A350 component venture

Airbus and Air France have initiated a new joint venture named Alpha Component Solutions to focus on support for the Airbus A350 aircraft family. The partnership will operate as a 50-50 collaboration, managing a global shared access pool of components. This initiative is jointly operated by Airbus and Air France-KLM, offering maintenance services alongside supply chain management and repair capabilities. The venture’s primary goal is to provide comprehensive support to all A350 operators worldwide, leveraging Airbus Flight Hours expertise. Initial reports indicate this strategic move aims to optimize component utilization and enhance service offerings within the A350 market.
