Air France-KLM moves chief operating officer across to lead Transavia

Oltion Carkaxhija has been named the chief executive of low-cost airline Transavia as part of a management restructuring within Air France-KLM Group. This appointment reflects a strategic shift by the group, aiming to bolster Transavia’s standing in the intra-European market segment. Previously, Carkaxhija oversaw the transformation initiatives for the entire airline group. Blaise Brigaud will assume responsibility for the senior vice-president of sustainability role, taking over Carkaxhija's prior duties. The move underscores Air France-KLM’s commitment to adapting its leadership structure and focusing on key operational areas.
