Air Force dubs Collaborative Combat Aircraft FQ-42 Vengeance, FQ-44 Fury

Secretary of the Air Force Troy Meink formally designated two new Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) as Vengeance and Fury during the Air and Space Forces Association’s conference on September 14, 2026. The FQ-42 Vengeance has been officially named, representing a significant step in the Air Force's CCA program. Similarly, the FQ-44 Fury received its official designation at the event held in Washington D.C.. These aircraft are designed to operate alongside traditional fighter jets, enhancing battlefield capabilities.
