Air Canada adds new long-haul services to Europe and China

Air Canada unveiled its expansion plans on September 3, 2026, introducing several new long-haul flight routes set to commence operations. These additions include direct flights from Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) to London Heathrow Airport (LHR) and Frankfurt Airport (FRA). Furthermore, Air Canada will establish a non-stop service between Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK), marking the airline’s first route into China. The launch of these services represents a significant investment by Air Canada in expanding its transatlantic and Asian networks.
